The benchmark software for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Stormblood, is out! They’re pulling out support for the PlayStation 3 so we can expect a better and more efficient performance of the game when it launches. This also means the minimum requirements to play the game would have upped a bit.
The benchmark is basically a 6-minute trailer featuring in-game footage of the various new locations, classes, gear, enemies, mounts, etc. we will be having in the new expansion.
If you want to try out the benchmark on your system, you can download it here!
My Benchmark Details:
Loading Times by Scene:
|Intel i7-2600k CPU @ 3.4GHz |
Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (VRAM 2GB)
Patriot Blast 480GB SSD
7089 (Extremely High)
My processor and graphics card are pretty old, but I’m glad they can still do well with the latest games! Although not on maximum or ultra settings lol. I’m a bit jelly of others who have above 15,000 scores!
Stormblood is the second expansion of Final Fantasy XIV- a massive online RPG game. It will be released on June 20, 2017. Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PC, PS4 and Mac, and supports cross-platform play.
