It’s been awhile since I’ve had my last Snack Shack fix in UP Diliman, and how I miss it so much. I was planning on going to their Sikatuna branch sometime soon, but thankfully they went on ahead and opened up a branch in Marikina! It’s literally just a 10-minute drive away.

Definitely one of the must-try burgers in the metro. Really affordable, but at the same time they have quality food- big, tasty, and juicy quality food!

For directions, you can refer to the map posted above. They’re located at Gen. Ordonez st. at Marikina Heights, Marikina City. Nearby landmark would be OLOPS College.

They also accept pre-orders be it for take out or dine in if it’s more convenient for you.

Place: It’s not cramped although it’s not the most spacious of places, either. But they do have ample seats for a place like this. It can fit around six to eight groups of four at a time.

What I like about this place is that they make their burgers fresh! Check these out:

Half-pound burger: almost the size of your face!

Double mozarella melted cheese goodness…

Bacon!!! ‘Nuff said.

French Fries. They’re okay.

Off from the grill and on to the prepping table!

Fresh veggies as you see them made

After around ten to fifteen minutes of waiting for our orders, here we go!

Half Pound Burger (P135), A&W Root Beer (P35), Bacon & Fries (P50)

This is one of those times where I’d just want to make out with food

Verdict: A definite ‘yes, you gotta try it!’ First of all, they’re affordable in a way that they blow their commercial fastfood competitors out of the water: P135 half-pounder vs. the others’ P150 quarter-pounders? They’ve also got real tasty beef, fresh veggies, and don’t get me started on the cheese. They also have that awesome spicy Sriracha sauce! The bacon and fries are good addons, too. Top those off with that A&W goodness, and you’re in burger heaven.
